Justesse et vérité des interprètes, l'intervention des deux orgues (Brand- Erbisdorf et Silbermann de Freiberg), le choeur, les solistes dont un Peter Harvey décidément inspiré, la direction du chef, convainquent. Architecte certes, McCreesh est aussi chef de troupes, galvanisant ses brebis, obtenant d'elles, le meilleur."

The interpreters' accuracy and truth, the inclusion of two organs (Brand-Erbisdorf and Silbermann of Freiberg), the chorus, the soloists (among whom a decidedly inspired Peter Harvey), the conductor's direction-all are convincing. Certainly an architect, McCreesh is also head of his troops, galvanising his flock, obtaining the best from them: more than that, the edifying nobility of sincerity."

Leaver, have achieved. "There are some fine performances there, and it is Bach rather than bells, chant, responses and sermons that most of us want to hear. The recorded sound, from Freiburg Cathedral and Brand-Erbisdorf in Saxony, is excellent. Bravo!'"
