Banchini and Ensemble 415 bring pointed elegance with playing that subtly and with passion finesses the tendency towards bone china preciousness. The Grave of the RV6 sonata is memorable for its melancholy serenity. However the lively flightiness of the Four Seasons is also in evidence as we hear in the Giga of the op. 1 Sonata. The annotation is well complemented by a Vivaldi chronology.
